Welcome to DOXNE! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DOXNE web application and mobile app (iOS) (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.
1. About DOXNE
DOXNE is a comprehensive productivity and habit tracking application developed by DOXNE, based in Belgium. The Services help you build better habits, track your mood, manage tasks and improve your daily routine across web and iOS devices.
2. Eligibility
By using DOXNE, you confirm that:
- You are at least 16 years old
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- You will provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
- You will not use the Services for any unlawful purpose
3. Account Registration
To use DOXNE, you must create an account by providing:
- First name and last name
- Username (unique)
- Valid email address
- Secure password
- Optional: Profile photo
Your Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- You may not share your account with others
- You may not create multiple accounts
4. License to Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You may NOT:
- Modify, copy, or distribute any part of the Services
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use the Services for commercial purposes without permission
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Services
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services
5. Subscription & Payments
Free Plan:
- 5 active habits
- 5 tasks per day
- Basic mood tracking
- Limited statistics
Premium Plans:
DOXNE offers two Premium subscription options:
- Premium Monthly: €4.99/month, auto-renews monthly
- Premium Annual: €24.99/year, auto-renews yearly (58% savings)
- Unlimited habits and tasks
- Advanced analytics and insights
6. Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Paddle. We do not store your credit card information.
Important:
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period
- Prices may change with 30 days notice
- All payments are in Euros (€)
7. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation:
- You may cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- You retain Premium access until the end of the paid period
- After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan
Refund Policy:
- 30-day money-back guarantee on your first Premium purchase
- No refunds for partial months or years
- Refund requests must be submitted to contact@doxne.com
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
8. Your Data & Content
You retain ownership of all data you enter into DOXNE, including:
- Habit tracking data
- Mood entries
- Tasks and goals
- Profile information
License to Us:
By using the Services, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Services. We will never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
9. Data Export & Deletion
- You can export all your data anytime in JSON format from your account settings
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
- Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days
- Backup copies are deleted within 90 days
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Upload viruses or malicious code
- Spam or send unsolicited messages
- Attempt to hack or compromise the Services
- Use the Services to store illegal content
- Scrape or collect user data without permission
11. Intellectual Property
The Services, including all content, features, design, code, logos, and trademarks, are the exclusive property of DOXNE and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Trademarks:
The DOXNE name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of DOXNE. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties of accuracy, reliability, or completeness
- Warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
Note: Health & Wellness Disclaimer: DOXNE is a productivity and habit-tracking tool, NOT a medical or mental health application. The Services do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of qualified health professionals for any health concerns.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DOXNE shall NOT be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or profits
- Business interruption
- Personal injury or health issues
- Emotional distress
Note: In any event, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Premium in the past 12 months (or €50, whichever is greater).
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DOXNE from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any content you submit through the Services
15. Modifications to the Services
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time
- Change pricing with 30 days notice
- Add or remove features
- Update these Terms (with notification)
16. Termination
By Us:
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct.
By You:
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your account settings or contacting contact@doxne.com.
17. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved in the courts of Belgium.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DOXNE regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements.
