Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Doxne ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
We don't collect, store, or transmit ANY of your personal data. Everything you enter in the App stays on YOUR device. No servers, no tracking, no data collection. Period.
Doxne is designed with privacy at its core. We want to be crystal clear about what we DON'T do:
We do NOT collect, transmit, or store:
The App allows you to optionally enter the following information, which is stored ONLY on your device using iOS UserDefaults (local storage):
| Data Type | Storage Location | Can Be Deleted? |
|---|---|---|
| Name (optional) | Your device only | ✅ Yes, anytime |
| About You (optional) | Your device only | ✅ Yes, anytime |
| Habit tracking data | Your device only | ✅ Yes, by deleting habits |
| Mood tracker entries | Your device only | ✅ Yes, by deleting entries |
| Journal entries | Your device only | ✅ Yes, by deleting entries |
| App preferences (language, etc.) | Your device only | ✅ Yes, by resetting settings |
Important: This data is stored locally using iOS UserDefaults and is NOT transmitted to any external servers. If you delete the App, all this data is permanently deleted from your device.
If you have iCloud backup enabled on your device, iOS may automatically back up the App's local data to your personal iCloud account. This is controlled by Apple's iOS settings, not by us.
For more information about iCloud, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you purchase Doxne Premium, all payment processing is handled directly by Apple through their In-App Purchase system.
We do NOT have access to your payment information (credit card, billing address, etc.). Apple processes all transactions securely and does not share your payment details with us.
What we DO know:
Apple's payment processing is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Doxne does NOT integrate with any third-party services, including:
The only third-party involved is Apple, which provides the App Store infrastructure and In-App Purchase system.
Doxne does not knowingly collect any information from children. The App is designed for general audiences and does not require any personal information to use.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the App (though this should not be possible), please contact us at contact@doxne.com.
Since all your data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on:
Since we don't have access to your data, you are responsible for backing it up. We recommend enabling iCloud backup or regularly backing up your device to prevent data loss.
Since we don't collect or store any of your personal data, there's nothing for us to access, modify, or delete on our end. However, you have full control over your data:
Since all data is stored locally on your device, there are NO international data transfers. Your data never leaves your device or your personal iCloud account (if you choose to enable iCloud backup).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), including Belgium, you have certain data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Good news: Since we don't collect any personal data, most GDPR obligations don't apply. However, for transparency:
If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
However, since we don't collect, sell, or share any personal information, these rights are not applicable. We do not:
